The Big Sew Off 2024

From 10am - 10pm on Thursday 7th November 2024, The Auld Atelier will be a hub for The Big Sew Off 2024!  Whilst the main London venue is hosting a 24 hour charity sewathon, here at The Auld Atelier, we are running a 12 hour sewathon throughout the day!  The Big Sew Off 2024 is raising funds for Mind, a mental health charity. If you'd like to join in the fun, use the Book Now button below to choose a time and book yourself a machine.

In this hub, you can book in for 2 hour sessions (as many as you like!) and can either bring along your own sewing project, or I can support you to make a mastectomy cushion which will be donated to Maggie's Centres in Forth Valley & Glasgow.

The Big Sew Off organised by Sew Over It is coming back in November 2024!  After the success of last year’s sewing marathon which raised over £14k for mental health charity Mind, they’re going to do it all again! The Sew Over It team will be sewing for 24-hours non-stop, along with other exciting sewing businesses and personalities. The Big Sew Off this year will again be hosted by the wonderful New Craft House in East London!

The Big Sew Off team will be running a giveaway for all of those that have donated via their Just Giving page once the Big Sew Off is over. If you'd like to be included in the giveaway make sure that you leave your contact details so they can add you into the draw.

NB. Anonymous donations will not be entered into the prize draw as they won't have a way to contact the winner! If you've already made an anonymous donation and would like to be included in the draw then please email info@sewoverit.com with proof of your donation and they'll make sure that you're entered into the giveaway.

If you would like to participate but cannot attend in person, you can choose one of the following options:

1. Join in from the comfort of your own home!  Why not get sponsored to hold your own sewathon at home.  You can then contribute your fundraising to the JustGiving page.

2. Make a donation to Team The Auld Atelier by clicking here to go to our JustGiving team page and show us your support.
