Course Description

This level 2 course is the perfect way to continue developing your sewing skills if you've taken Level 1 and are looking for your next challenge.  If you book your Level 2 course between the date that you book your Level 1 course and one month after you complete it, you can request a 10% discount code for Level 2.

Of course, Level 2 is also ideal for people who don't need to learn to set up a machine and already have an understanding of the skills learned in Level 1.  Perhaps you've followed a pattern or two, but lack confidence or wish to expand your sewing skills.  If that's the case then Level 2 may well be for you.  If you're unsure if you're ready for Level 2, please get in touch to have a chat about your current sewing skills and what you're looking to learn next.

Whilst Level 1 worked on creating a skirt, this is a 9-10 week programme designed to teach you the skills you need to make a woven PJ top.  Throughout the course, you will be sampling the skills and making small projects that will prepare you to make your own buttoned PJ top with a collar, including inserting an invisible zip, using bias binding & piping, attaching a collar and sleeves, creating buttonholes and more!

Along the way, you will be able to add your skills samples to your workbook of all the techniques and projects that you will be able to refer back to at home any time.  You will develop your pattern reading and preparation skills, and you'll take away a full digital and paper pattern for your finished PJs.

Please note, whilst we won't make the PJ bottoms in class, you will be able to make the trousers at home or come back for the Level 3 class where the PJ bottoms will be made in class.

This course is suitable for those who have completed Level 1 or who have followed some simple patterns but would like the confidence that will come from working with your tutor to produce a woven PJ top.
