Missed Classes & Catch Up Class Policy
I know that life gets in the way and sometimes you get sick or something unexpected crops up which means that you are unable to attend your class. For that reason, I work hard to offer you the opportunity to come in at a different time to catch up on the missed work. However, if we are unable to find a mutually convenient time slot for that catch up class, then you have, unfortunately, missed that content, though it is available to you in your workbook.
Catch Up Classes
I will provide THREE free catch up classes over the course of a single level. That should allow for e.g. a two week holiday plus a week of sickness. Should you require additional catch up classes, those will incur a small, additional charge.

If you miss THREE classes in a row, it will be taken that you have withdrawn from your class.

If you reach a total of FIVE missed classes across a single level, it will be taken that you have withdrawn from your class as that amounts to approximately half of your course.

In either of the above situations, withdrawing from your class means that you won't be able to attend future classes in that block. The course isn't refundable and it won't be possible to move you to another class instead. Should you wish to repeat the course at a later date, you are welcome to re-book when you see an appropriate class online but it will be at the cost of a full new level. Where the class end date shifts due to cancelled classes and this pushes your classes into an already booked holiday, those missed classes won't count.​
Thinking of booking a class?
You may be thinking of booking a class and are concerned about needing some time off. If you already know that you will need several weeks off then this may not be the right time for you. However, so long as your time off falls within the limits described above, it should be possible to accommodate you. It would be a good idea to reach out first, though, to see when I generally have catch up availability to be sure that you could be available at those times too. I teach 11 classes a week currently and cannot run catch ups at those times.
