The Wine Bottle Bag Party
Come along to The Auld Atelier for your next party and make a wine bottle bag to hold two bottles of wine, juice, water - or whatever you would like it to hold. All the details are given below.

Book a Wine Bottle Bag Party and learn to make your very own wine bag together with your friends. The bag is designed to carry two bottles of wine (alcoholic or non alcoholic), juice or maybe a couple of water bottles whilst you're out and about. With a divider between the bottles, there will be no clinking together. Perfect for taking on a picnic, gifting to a friend, or carrying bottles to a party.
Before the party, choose from a range of suitable fabrics and they will be ready for you to sew up on the day.
This workshop is for Confident Beginners who can comfortably follow a seam allowance, back tack, edgestitch and have a project or two under their belt. There will be no teaching of these skills at the start of the workshop as there is during workshops suitable for complete beginners.
The minimum age for all party participants is 16 but there is no maximum age. If they're able and willing to join in, they will have a great time. You will take away with you the instructions and access to the digital pattern to make more at home, if you wish.
Bookings are for a minimum of 5 people and a maximum of 8 people. Numbers will be confirmed at the time of booking, with payment required at that time to secure your group booking.
Your party booking is for up to 4 hours. Please allow around 3 hours to construct your bags (though this will vary depending on the skill level of the guests). With your remaining hour, you are welcome to make use of the tea room for party food (not provided), including the use of the vintage china tea sets. There is a kettle and a small fridge, but no facilities to warm food. This can be used as 15 minutes for drinks and nibbles on arrival, 30 minutes for food in the middle of the party, and 15 minutes for drinks and nibbles at the end to allow for people to share their makes and be collected, if necessary - though these timings can be adjusted to suit your personal requirements.
Parties can be booked at the following times:
Fridays (start time between 10am and 5pm)
Saturdays (start time between 2pm and 5pm)
Sundays (start time between 10am and 4pm)
Cost: £35 per guest
