The Mastectomy Cushion Workshop
If you're looking to host a charitable workshop, the Mastectomy Cushion Workshop is perfectly suited. As well as donating £10 per guest to Maggie's, you can opt to either take the cushions home or leave them behind to be donated to Maggie's for people who need them. Full the details are given below.

Please note that, whilst you can arrange a group booking, there are no scheduled Mastectomy Cushion workshops at the moment for booking individual seats.
After a mastectomy or lumpectomy, a mastectomy cushion can help to make you feel much more comfortable. When my mum was waiting for her lumpectomy, Maggie's Forth Valley gave her a heart shaped cushion which had been donated to them. At a difficult time, such a simple act of kindness can make all the difference, and at The Auld Atelier, we want to return the favour so that others can receive the same support and kindness.Come along to The Auld Atelier in Paisley to make a mastectomy cushion each. The heart shaped cushion is designed to gently curve around the armhole, providing soft, comfortable support. At the end of the session, you can either choose to keep your cushions or they can be kept to be donated to Maggie's.
The workshop is open to adults and children over the age of 8, and you don't need any sewing experience to take part.
£10 per guest from the price of your workshop will also be donated to Maggie's. Together, let's see how much we can raise to help Maggie's continue their wonderful work.
Bookings are for a minimum of 5 people and a maximum of 8 people. Numbers will be confirmed at the time of booking, with payment required at that time to secure your booking.

Please allow around 2 hours to construct your mastectomy cushion (though this will vary depending on skill so please be prepared to allow a little extra time) .

Parties can be booked at the following times:
Fridays (start time between 10am and 6pm)
Saturdays (start time between 2pm and 6pm)
Sundays (start time between 10am and 4pm)

Cost: £25 per guest
