30 British pounds
New Street

Service Description

Book a Wine Bag Workshop and learn to make your very own wine bag which is designed to carry two bottles of wine (alcoholic or non alcoholic), juice or maybe a couple of water bottles whilst you're out and about. With a divider between the bottles, there will be no clinking together. Perfect for taking on a picnic, gifting to a friend, or carrying bottles to a party. Before the workshop, choose from a range of suitable fabrics and they will be ready for you to sew up on the day. This workshop is for Confident Beginners who can comfortably follow a seam allowance, back tack, edgestitch and have a project or two under their belt. There will be no teaching of these skills at the start of the workshop as there is during workshops suitable for complete beginners.   Please allow 3 hours to construct your wine bag - however, this will vary depending on skill level. You may finish earlier but be prepared for the workshop to run over a little. Those with more experience may complete their wine bag a little quicker, and some people may require a little extra time. If you have never sewn at The Auld Atelier before, You will first spend some time completing the health & safety briefing before getting some time to familiarise yourself with the class machines. For this, please select the free add on for new students. If you do forget to add this (or can't see it), I will reach out to arrange it. This is 20 minutes before the start of your workshop. The minimum age for all workshop participants is 8 but there is no maximum age. If they're able and willing to join in, they will have a great time. You will take away with you the instructions and access to the digital pattern to make more at home, if you wish. The standard cancellation & refund policy applies.
